In order to apply to the observation of the International Geophysical Year, a n apparatus for measuring the audio frequency atmospheries, described in a preceding paper, has thereafter been improved to a new system which is added accessories such as a standard time signal generator, two magnetic tape recorders of three elements, an automatic time switch and a standard 50 C/S power supply for driving the tape recorder, etc. This new apparatus is under adjustment and test observations are continucd for several months, but yet further experiments on the routine observation will be necessary. The data obtained by using this new apparatus are given in this paper. The results obtained in the analysis of the audio frequency atmospherics are essentially similar to those reported by Storey, except differences of dispersion and lacks of repetition of the whistlers. These differences may be owing to the low magnetic latitude of the observing position.
