Phase stability of the new local oscillator system for the λ 8-cm radioheliograph at Toyokawa is studied experimentally . The phase stability is expected to be kept within 5° rms for a month, if the temperature, DC supply voltage and reference-signal level of a phase-locked oscillator are controlled suitably, and coaxial cables transmitting the reference-signal are burried at the depth below 1 m from the ground level.
