The main purposes of this study were 1) examination the connection of learning, interpersonal relationship, and group identity and 2) exploring the factors that effect the satisfaction of student life through a longitudinal study spanning the undergraduate program. Questionnaires were administered to 71 undergraduates majoring in education. The efforts at learning correlated with a degree of intimacy with friends in the faculty, a sense of closeness to teachers, university identity, and faculty identity. The connection of learning, interpersonal relationships, and group identity was confirmed. The satisfaction of student life in 4^<th> grade correlated that in first grade. University identity, faculty identity, sense of learning, satisfaction of friendship, and the positive attitude to teachers correlated with the satisfaction of student life. The comparison investigation of clusters that based on satisfaction of student life suggested that friendship in the university might play an important role for satisfaction of student life.
