The array performance in several successive configurations was examined for the 10-mφ 5-element super-synthesis telescope. The number of (u,v) samples was used as a criterion of optimum (u,v) coverages. The optimum solution for a given declination were obtained by a random trial method. The performance was evaluated through a computer simulation by use of model brightness distributions.
