Low frequency wave propagation in a drifting plasma

In this paper, propagation of low frequency disturbance through a plasma having a drift velocity is dealt with the help of macroscopic approach. Existence of a drift velocity makes ion oscillation possible to propagate with constant amplitude under a certain condition. The frequency of propagating wave is found to be higher than the ion plasma frequency. The frequency deviation depends on the magnitude of the drift velocity.
