1.高い中性子検出効率を得るため、3気圧のプロパンガスを充填した大容積(約5リットル)の中空円筒型多線陽極構造の反跳陽子比例計数管を設計・製作し、この内側に市販の高圧力^3He中性子捕獲計数管を同軸で組み込んだ。反跳陽子計数管のエネルギー分解能は、プロパンガスにエネルギー校正用として混入した^3Heの熱中性子捕獲に伴いパルス波高分布上に生じた764keVの吸収ピークに対して23%が得られ、また、中性子信号とγ線信号との間でパルス立上り時間の違いを利用した波形弁別を行った結果、^<60>Coγ線に対し95%のγ線除去率を達成できた。 2.反跳陽子計数管に入射し、プロパン中の水素による弾性散乱で大きくエネルギーを失った中性子が内側の^3He計数管で捕獲され、2重パルスを発生したとき、後続信号で先行の反跳陽子信号の波高分析を実施するよう、遅延同時計数処理を行うためのロジック信号処理装置を設計・製作すると共に、エレクトロニクス系を構築した。 3.スペクトロメーターに80から600keVの種々のエネルギ-の単色中性子を照射すると、モンテカルロ計算により求められたエネルギー応答関数と同様に、各中性子エネルギーで波高分布上に中性子の全エネルギー吸収に対応した単一ピークが得られ、これより、ピーク波高値と中性子エネルギーとの関係(エネルギー校正曲線)が求められた。中性子検出効率はモンテカルロ計算結果と同程度(10^<-5>程度)の値が得られ、モンテカルロ計算の信頼性を確認した。","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_19_description_5":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"科学研究費補助金
