The core samples were sliced into thin layer of the sediment with 1cm thick, from which foraminiferal tests were separated by using of the sieve with 60 mesh. The tests were analyzed for amino acid composition, D- and L- amino acid ratio and ^\u003c14\u003eC/^\u003c13\u003eC ratio. 内容記述 An aim of this work is to examine the applicability of the recemization reaction of amino acids in the planktonic foraminiferal tests for the age determination of the marine sediment from the deep ocean floor.
