 note = {We measured ^<14>C ages of three samples (two wood samples (TKSHM-1,2) and one bamboo sample (TKSHM-3)) selected from an anchor of the Mongolian armada which was salvaged from the Takashima submerged site, Nagasaki Prefecture. TKSHM-1 and 3 showed the ages which were consistent with 1281 A.D. (the age when the Mongolian armada invaded Takashima) within one sigma error.
