 note = {In the story of marriage of Atemiya in Utsuho-Monogatari, a lot of characters appear. The reader is made for especially three eccentricities to laugh by the strange speech and behavior in them. Kanzuke-no-Miya, Miharu-no-Takamoto, and Shigeno-no-Masuge, we name them San-Kizin. Kanzuke-no-Miya held a grand festival, and kidnapped an impostor of Atemiya with a lot of hoodlums. It is funny that he does not notice that himself is deceived. He is a caricature of Masayori and crown prince. Both Takamoto and Masuge are local government official’s models made a caricature. They are misers who obtained a lot of wealths as local government official. Takamoto forbids luxury and says that one should economize. Criticism for the society of the author is shown in his remark. However, the criticism is not necessarily thorough, Takamoto’s extreme behavior is laughed at by people. The essence of the Monogatari is in the amusement. They are essential characters for Monogatari.},
