 note = {This report presents the results of radiocarbon dating of five human skeletons excavated at the Yoko shellmound site, Oita, Japan. The human skeletons were reported to be accompanied by shellmound to the Latest Jomon period from the viewpoint of Archaeology. However, these individuals were dated Middle Jomon period. Addition to this, it was found that they are divided into two period.
