 note = {This paper will report on a study of the 78rpm standard-play records housed in the Aoki collection of the Nagoya University Library. The collection in question is comprised of 5 traditional Japanese music records and 59 Chinese opera records purchased in the mid- 1920s by Masaru Aoki, a renowned scholar in the field of Chinese literature. In this paper, I will use information from the record labels, catalogs of records, and prior research to inventory basic information including the year of issue, genre, and record company . In addition, I will provide a commentary, and discuss the value of the collection of records as a material for the study of Chinese theater.},
