 note = {The Kyoto University Library established its Research and Development Laboratory (R&D Lab) in April 1996 by reorganizing the Library's Research Room established in April 1985. In January 2009, Prof. Takashi Koga became the R&D Lab's first full-time member in order to further the Lab's activities. Items on the Lab's agenda for FY 2009 were: the University's institutional repository (KURENAl), information literacy education and instruction, preservation and conservation of the library's collections, and the library's information system.
