We name this environment as "distributed display environment". Sharing a display in distributed display environment enables sharing of information between users. Moreover, a user can be provided with various services through a display. For example, a display of a conference room offers the service for operating a presentation slide by remote, a display in a station offers the service for offering a timetable and a surrounding map. We propose a system named RICA which supports easy use of distributed display. R1CA is composed of display appliance, and client terminals. We call a device which offers display services as a display appliance. A client is able to discover display appliances autonomously. A user can choose an appliance to use from the discovered display appliances. Moreover, in the distributed display environment, the situation that can two or more displays can be used, can be exist. RICA makes a cooperation between the services offered by the display, and provides a user with the more advanced information sharing by use of two or more displays.}, title = {RICA : 動的にサービス構成の変更が可能な分散ディスプレイシステム}, year = {2003} }
