We have proposed an incremental construction method for ad-hoc networks based on infrared communication (IrDA). In this paper, we show a performance evaluation of this method by computer simulations. By using various simulation models, we simulate the construction of ad-hoc networks and evaluate the process. We also evaluate the influence of the algorithm parameters in several simulation models.
