Specific block of bepridil on I_ or I_, however, has been controversial and dependent on species and experimental conditions. To clarify this point, we studied the effects of bepridil on I& or I_ in rabbit ventricular myocytes. Bepridil caused a concentration-dependent inhibition on both currents. IC_<50>s were 0.43 ± 0.20 μM (n=5) for I& and 0.82 ± 0.32 (μM (n=7) for I_.
