In Study 1, 934 students complete the temporal comparison orientation scale. Item parameters and test information were estimated by applied Graded Response Model as the IRT model, and short-form of the scale was developed. Items of the short form were selected using the slope and step parameters. In Study 2, reliability and validity of the short-form was examined. One hundred thirty-six students completed the temporal comparison orientation scale and related scales. The results indicate that the short-form had a sufficient reliability and validity.
