After the Lehman Shock in 2008, especially, the Asian automobile industry is growing and changing drastically and plays an important role in the global market. This paper presents that, at first, even after the East Japan Earthquake and the historic flooding crisis in Thailand occurred in 2011, the Japanese specific supply chain system called the “Just in Time(JIT)” or “Kanban” method has several advantages. Secondly, Japanese carmakers must re-design the production networks for adapting to a new environment, and that may form a new East Asian economic community.
