The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relation of self-concept and adjustment of foreign students living in Japan. The data collected by 65 foreign students who completed three types of questionnaires : Q-sort method in personality assessment, Y-G personality test tionnaire and R.B. Cattell's anxiety scale. The results showed several findings : (1) The close relationship among the adjustment scale of Q-sort data in self-concept, the adjustment scale of the Y-G personality test and R.B. Cattell' sanxiety scale. (2) It's reasonable to think that lower self-concept levels to poor adjustment, in contrast, higher levels self-concept to better adjustment by foreign students.
