 note = {WebCT（Web Course Tools）は、カナダのブリティッシュコロンビア大学で開発されたWebを用いた授業（コースと呼ぶ）の設計、開発、管理を行う統合コース管理システム（Course Management System:CMS）である。WebCTでは、htmlの表示、掲示板、Ｅメール、オンラインクイズなどが簡単にできる。いわば授業のホームページを運用するためのツールである。WebCTの日本語化は、１９９９年に当時名古屋大学情報メディア教育センターの助手であった梶田将司氏によって行われた。以来、情報メディア教育センターではWebCTを利用した授業支援を行っている。私も１９９９年からWebCTを講義に利用している。本稿では、私の授業実践として、１９９８年～２００２年に開講した「計算機基礎数理」を紹介する。具体的には、WebCTをどう活用したのかについて、ダイナミックな授業、掲示板による学生同士のサポート、広範な授業内容について述べる。最後に本学でWebCTを活用するためにはどうすれば良いのか、私見を述べる。, WebCT (Web Course Tools) is a course management systems (CMS) that have been developed at British Columbia University to support faculty members for designing, developing and managing his/her class. The WebCT offers many useful tools, such as displaying html files, discussion board, e mail, online quiz, and so on. After using WebCT for several years, I found that it is possible to teach dynamically and interactively. Some of experiences I have learned using WebCT are reported, such includes a dynamic course administration, discussions among students, extensive study contents, and so on. As a conclusion, a need of faculty support is essential to enhance teaching and learning in Nagoya University especially for those using WebCT.},
