He was a typical avarisious prefectural governor, a devout Buddist,an intelligent and conscienence statesman,and he loved his wife and daugter.Thus he is a wonderful person,it is very difficult to understand him.His imcompatible and complicated personality makes him attractive.The relation between Akashi no Nyudo and Hikaru Genji is very important. Genji was sure that Nyudo’s prayer led him to Akashi.Genji also considered him a saint. Genji understood Nyudo quite well.},
