| 内容記述 | This paper aims to study relation of provincial supervisors with handicraftsmen by clearing up production of shrine treasures. In Heian period, provincial supervisors visited shrines in their provinces and contributed various treasures to the shrines when they started for their new posts. These treasures were produced at the capital and the provinces. Provincial supervisors attempted to control craftsmen in their provinces by means of ordering to produce shrine treasures and transferred arts to make them in the capital to the provinces. | |||||
