The global trend of our data shows word superiority effect on letter search task, it means that letters in words were detect faster than letters in nonwords. However the data from a subject (a 9years old boy with severe Reading and Writing Problems) did not show the word superiority effect. 内容記述 The focus of this article is on developing an understanding of the complexities of Learning Disorders and its various subtypes using the viewpoint and paradigm of cognitive psychology. With 9 Learning Disorder children as subjects, letter search task was employed. In the experiment, words or nonwords written in hiragana were presented on a CRT display.
