Concerning why those have happened, there might be somewhat peculiar causes. One of the causes seems to be related to how the students feel to external events. Thus, this study aims at making clear how and why junior high school students have some feelings in everyday life. To investigate feelings in everyday life, a new method named as a diary of feeling was proposed. Junior high school students were asked to describe how and why their feelings came about in open-ended form along the passing time for a couple of days. Feelings which students had to report was restricted to three kinds : anger, sadness and pleasure. In order to alleviate subjects' defensive attitude toward writing their own feelings freely, they were instructed to describe them in unsigned from, to seal up the completed diary and to submit it. As a result, generally we did not get abundant information on students' feelings from the diary. Although the frequencies of three feelings were different from one class to another, as a whole, the feelings of pleasure were most frequently whereas the feelings of sadness were least. Also the consistency of the feelings between two days was highest in pleasure, lowest in anger. Choosing 48 diaries in which over 10 incidents were written, contents of feelings were analyzed in detail. The cues and reasons each feeling happened were classified into 10 categories. Regarding with students' anger, teasing and abuse by their friends mostly often bought it. Turning to sadness, for most of students, getting poor achievements brought about it. Finally, feeling pleasant was most deeply related to physical satisfaction. Also they felt pleasant when they did not need to do routine work. In three kinds of feelings, they seldom held same feeing as others did, that is, they seldom sympathized each other., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {235--244}, title = {中学生はなぜ怒り,悲しみ,喜ぶのか : 感情日誌を用いて}, volume = {46}, year = {1999} }
