Subsequently they were given HBIG properly during 12 months. Of 16 children, 13 remained HBs-Ag negative and 3 of 13 gained antibody anti-HBs. In 2 children HBs-Ag became positive and acute hepatitis occured because the interval of HBIG administration was too long.
