In study 1,rival image was investigated on 295 high school students (105 students had a rival and 190 did not). When students mutually recognized that they were rivals, their performances were similar to each other. On the other hand, students who one-sidedly recognized someone as a rival perceived that the performance of the rival was better than that of themselves. Regarding the relationship with rivals, students with a rival assumed greater intimacy than those who did not have any rivals imagined. In study 2,rival recognition of students with a rival and friend recognition of students without a rival were investigated on 393 high school students (165 with a rival, 228 without a rival). The analysis of performance showed; (1) students who had a rival had better performances than those who did not; (2) students perceived as a rival had better performances than those perceived as a friend; (3) the performance gap between a rival or a friend and the subject student had no significant differences between those who had a rival and those who did not. However, the variance of the performance gap was significantly greater between the subject student and a friend than between the subject student and a rival. In conclusion, it should be noted that students who had a rival had more affirmative images toward a rival than the others., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {275--285}, title = {学習におけるライバルの人物像についての基礎的検討}, volume = {46}, year = {1999} }
