After i.v. injection of 2 mCi of thallium-201, the patient's whole body scintigram was reconstructed by taking the geometric mean of the corresponding anterior and posterior pixel counts over the 512 x 512 matrix format. The scintigram showed manifest hypoperfusion at the site of muscle weakness.
