We must pay attention to this fact. The purpose of this study is to clarify some characteristics of curriculum theory of technology education as general education at lower secondary schools in the early 1950's. The reason why we focused on Seiichi Miyahara is that he made a great influence on a direction of technology education as general education in 1950's. In this study, especially, I try to analyze (1) Seiichi Miyahara's educational thought based on the concept 'production', (2) industrial arts program in Florida state in the United States of America in 1948 (=Florida plan), (3) Syokugyokyoikukenkyukai's curriculum theory of technology education as general education. The conclusion of this study are as follows : (1) Seiichi Miyahara suggested a philosophy of technology education as general education. On the other hand, he entrusted a formation of curriculum model to Syokugyokyoikukenkyukai. (2) Syokugyokyoikukenkyukai did not accept to the theory of curriculum organization of Florida plan which was introduced by Seiichi Miyahara. Instead of that, they chose educational contents on the basis of "Trade and Job Analysis". Moreover, they made a formation of teaching materials with technical information, technical skill and social-economic information. (3) Hence one can say that curriculum of technology education as general education in the early 1950's was Industry and trade-oriented one., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {35--50}, title = {1950 年代初期における普通教育としての技術教育課程論の展開 : 宮原誠一の生産主義的普通教育論とその具体化に即して}, volume = {11}, year = {1998} }
