A two-wave panel design was used to examine changes in the parenting behavior after an interval of one year. The students (n=1455) completed the questionnaire which is designed to assess their depressive symptoms at 1st grade of junior high school. Their fathers (n=308) and mothers (n=499) completed the questionnaires which is designed to assess their perceived depressive symptoms and the parenting behavior at 1st and 2nd grade of junior high school. As the results, first, depressive symptoms of the children partly corresponded to parents' perceived depressive symptoms; however there was variability among parents of children with high depressive symptoms. Second, parents of children with high depressive symptoms were likely to take negative parenting behavior. Third, negative parenting behavior of mothers such as criticism and aggressive behavior decreased when they perceived their child's depressive symptoms except irritability. The implication of the findings is that the parents are likely to overlook irritability as the sign of depressive symptoms.}, pages = {79--89}, title = {中学生の抑うつ傾向に対する両親の認知と養育行動の変化}, volume = {59}, year = {2012} }
