Sometimes, people call it "examination war" or "examination hell" in Japan. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of risk perception and the evaluation of probability of success on decision making in entering university. Subjects were 121 third-year senior high school students (12th grade). They responded to the following questionnaire item sets twice : personality scales (e.g., achievement motivation), motivation toward entering university, evaluation of performance in the practice examination, evaluation of the likelihood of being accepted into the university of prime choice, extent of thier ability and efforts, and evaluation of the probability of their success in entrance examination. The grades they achieved on the practice exam was available. The results indicated that the students attained high grades attached great importance to the probability of success, and they made a decision based on this probability. Subjective probability of success was evaluated higher by students than the objective probability which was evaluated by the practice trial., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {421--428}, title = {大学受験の合格可能性の認知と意思決定 : 高校生データによる探索的研究}, volume = {47}, year = {2000} }
