In this study, an accelerated exposure test was conducted for 600 days on steel plates with 21 different conditions: seven types of bridge coating systems and three types of edge geometries. The test results show that the edge geometry had a significant influence on durability of the paint coating systems whereas the similar influence was not found for the metallic coating systems.
