T-tests were performed using 3) as predictors of rival existence. It was shown that the difference had social comparison and interpersonal orientation between rival presence and absence. A correlation analysis between 3) and 1) or 2) revealed that higher self-orientation was related to higher cognition to mutual action with rivals and higher evaluation concern was related to lower self-orientation.
