 note = {Purpose of this study was to examine (1) sub-processes and subcategories of writing strategies and self-efficacy in writing and (2) the relationship between them in writing process. "Writing strategies" scale and "Perceived Self-regulatory Efficacy for Writing" scale were used in this study. Three factors emerged from "Writing strategies" scale: A) easiness to transmit to readers, B) readers' interests, C) easiness of words and phrases. Three factors also emerged from "Perceived Self-regulatory Efficacy for Writing" scale: D) efficacy for writing activities, E) efficacy for using easy expressions, F) efficacy for making the content clear. Relationships between subscales (from A to F) were also examined. However, correlation coefficient varied according to subscales: while "easiness to transmit to readers" highly correlated with the rest of subscales, "easiness of words and phrases" only correlated with "efficacy for making the content clear".
