"Writing strategies" scale and "Perceived Self-regulatory Efficacy for Writing" scale were used in this study. Three factors emerged from "Writing strategies" scale: A) easiness to transmit to readers, B) readers' interests, C) easiness of words and phrases. Three factors also emerged from "Perceived Self-regulatory Efficacy for Writing" scale: D) efficacy for writing activities, E) efficacy for using easy expressions, F) efficacy for making the content clear. Relationships between subscales (from A to F) were also examined. However, correlation coefficient varied according to subscales: while "easiness to transmit to readers" highly correlated with the rest of subscales, "easiness of words and phrases" only correlated with "efficacy for making the content clear".
