Yoshida et al. (2000, 2001) had previously reported on sessions targeted for seventh grade students, and Saito et al. (2002) dealt with sessions for eighth grade students. This article focused on sessions geared for ninth graders. Eighty students in two classes received a total of 10 sessions, including topics such as "grouping by situation", "ingroup-outgroup bias", "false consensus bias", "social interaction including social dilemma", and "summary and understanding of the purposes behind the whole course".
