Observing them by modificated categories of Parten, M. B. (1933), we found that the isolates, in the first period of observation, were more 'independent (Leadership)', more 'unoccupied or onlooking (Social Participation)', and had less interaction with other children (Social Contact) than any other groups when playing freely. In the second period, the isolates played more 'directively' and more 'cooperatively' than these in the first. The other two groups tended also to show socially desirable behavior in the second period more than these in the first. Aggressive behavior was decreased in all the groups. But a contradictory result was that 'directiveness' of the populars was decreased and 'reciprocal directiveness' of them was increased. Picture Frustration Test discriminated the isolates from other two groups by the excessive immaturity in 'Group Conformity'. Parent-child relationship was analyzed for each group. The isolates were rejected emotionally by the parents, especially by father. The rejectees were accepted by father, but rejected by mother. The populars were accepted by parents with desirable control. We found 4 types of isolates by the case study, (1) socially immature children, (2) socially recessive children, (3) socially uninterested children, and (4) socially rejected children., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {269--279}, title = {<個人研究>孤立児に関する心理学的研究 : 幼児期における}, volume = {11}, year = {1964} }
