Since that time we have investigated carefully the zonal distribution of atmospherics in lat. 30° to 40° N and could confirm the very existence of it. As they appear very clearly in winter，we studied especially those in winter，and found，at the same time，that snow storms，snow showers，cumulo-nimbus，cyclones accompanied by fronts，etc. are also shown very often to be source of atmospherics. We found further that there exists often very remarkable zonal distribution of atmospherics along long. 140° to 130° E，specifically at Hokkaido and north-wards. The reason of existence is at present unknown. There were，in general，no remarkable distribution of atmospherics in front of a trough in 500 mb or 700 mb westerly waves，as we had them in the case of Typhoon Ruth.
