This article explores how a significant change in the teaching and learning culture of a university requires a systemic approach incorporating strategies and action for change at course, department and college levels. Additionally, it explores how educational development units contribute to addressing this disparity to promote the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based teaching methods in higher education.
