By the application of this apparatus to the thunder-storm observation the frequency range can be estimated about the frequency spectrum of atmospherics having various wave types. The result of wave form observation is that not only the type of main discharge, but also that of ionosphere reflection at night can be estimated to comprise frequency components which distribute at least from several kilocycles up to 1 MC, even if the distances which they have propagated through the atmosphere amount to more than 200 km. The static field variation of rapid step character which represent itself during thunder-storms within 20-30 km from the station is found to include frequency components up to 1 MC at the portion of discontinuous step static field changes. In the case of cloud discharge type wave form it is often observed that the superimposed step field change, which has the same character as the step static field change under near thunderstorms, has also frequency components up to 1 MC even after it has propagated from 80 to 150 km.}, pages = {27--34}, title = {近距離空電波形の研究(第6報) : 空電波形とその成分周波数に関する観測結果}, volume = {5}, year = {1954} }
