Groups of "Boys" and "Girls", "Cities" and "Too Thinly-Peopled Communities", so-called "KASO", were tested with the questionnaire for extent of self-disclosure which included the seven subcategories. The seven subcategories are "home and family", "physical feature and personal character", "academic achievement", "friend relati- onship", "school life and teacher", "educational and vocational future" and "philosophy of life and religion". On each subcategories, the extent of self-disclosure was assessed to five target persons, - "Father", "Mother", "Friend", "Brother and Sister" and "Teacher". The findings are summarized as follows : 1. Boys of junior high school in the city closed more than girls in the city and junior high school students in the so-called "KASO". 2. Junior high school students showed the most self-disclosure to "Mother" and "Friend" and the lest self-disclosure to "Teacher". 3. The boys disclosed more to "Father" than to "Brother and Sister", but the girls showed no significant differences between "Father" and "Brother and Sister". 4. Girls of the junior high school in the city disclosed more to "Mother", and "Brother and Sister", than boys, and did not show the significant sex difference to "Father" and "Teacher". The students in the so-called "KASO" did not show the significant sex difference to the all target persons. 5. Boys in the so-called "KASO" disclosed more to "Mother", "Friend" and "Teacher" than boys in the city. The girls in the so-called "KASO" disclosed more to "Teacher" than girls in the city, but girls in the so-called "KASO" disclosed less to "Mother" than girls in the city. 6. Junior hign school students showed the most self-disclosure in "education and vocational future". 7. In the city, girls showed more dislosure than boys in the all sub-categories. In the so-called "KASO", we could not owe the significant sex differense on self-disclosure in the subcategories. 8. Boys in the so-called "KASO" disclosed more than boys in the city in "physical feature and personal character", "academic achievement", "school life and teacher." On the girls the all subcategories did not show the difference between the so-called "KASO" and the city. 9. The most trust was showon to "Mother" and the lest trust to "Teacher". 10.
