For the use of Sferics fix determined from the observation of atmospherics by the network of direction finders considered, it is necessary to assess the accuracy to which storms may be located and to delimit the areas in which location is satisfactory with the network. The 50#% probability ellipses are obtained based upon the theory of Stansfield, when a set of bearings from an origin are observed in the use of two or three direction finders. The comparision is made with respect to the reciprocal of the root-mean-square error in position of the fix between the two determinations derived in the use of two and three direction finders. The practical usefulness of fix positions is discussed in comparision with the distance of the source derived from waveform analysis.}, pages = {45--51}, title = {空電方位測定法により求められる位置誤差の計算}, volume = {7}, year = {1957} }
