 note = {Atomospherics observations were carried out during a week in Aug. 1959. This time sferics fixes of near thunderstorms were proposed to examine the possibility of receiving techniques by the use of the usual long wave C. R. D. F. However it is often necessary to assess the true bearings from received elliptic images on recording films. Considering the ground wave radiated from a horizontal dipole, the expression of horizontal magnetic field on the finitely conducting earth received by a frame aerial was obtained. From this theoretical treatment, the bearing of the major axis of ellipse was approximately found to be the true bearing of the elliptic image. The majority of groups of atmospherics during this period thus could be located at various areas in our country and its neighbouring areas.},
