Also this paper was planned in the context of our series of survey attempting to reapply the diagnostic categories for autism through analyzing the therapeutic processes. Subjects were 20 autistic childen (18 boys and 2 girls) who had been experienced individual or group play therapy or both, at the rate of 1 time/1-2 weeks during 18-45 months. The data collected from the questionnaire for mothers and therapist's records of therapies were analyzed from the viewpoints of (1) disappearance of the language and its period and duration, (2) rate of the language development, (3) exsistence of the echolalias and their states. Five types of the language development were identified as a consequence. The characteristics of each type were as follows : Type L-1. In this type, the languages appeared during first 1-2 years old, but disappeared until about 3 years old. Afterwards echolalias were often shown and spontaneous language developed very slowly. Type L-2. After normal language development was shown during about 2-3 years old, the development was seased suddenly and spontaneous language disappeared, except echolalias which remained exceedingly for about one year. After that again the spontaneous language was shown and developed well. Type L-3. After some language appeared during first 2-3 years, the vocabularies became rich with their functions that did not free from the level of the lisps and during 5-6 years old language development reached its peak. And after that the development was slowed down gradually. Echolalias had been found constantly since first speaking. Type L-4,First speaking were shown normally or with a slight lateness and languages developed to a certain level with a slow pace, but finally they reached "platueau". Since about 3 years old echolalias and the repeatitive language were found frequently and continued for considerable duration. Type L-5. Since first speaking, some aspects of language development were normal, while the other aspects showed some difficulties; though there are no difficulties in the vocabulary growth, frequently monologues appeared for a time and talking without intonation were always found charactalistially. Echolalias were not shown at any time., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {185--198}, title = {<原著>自閉症児の言語発達の類型化の試み}, volume = {19}, year = {1973} }
