The brightness distribution as well as the distribution of circularly polarized components can be observed. A frequency of 5 Gc/s and a bandwidth of 3 Mc/s are recommended. A 2.4-m-dish 32-element interferometer is considered to be suitable for the quick scanning. Additional 2 elements to compose a compound phase-switch interferometer will be useful for the high-resolution study of S-component. A heliographic scanning at a moderate speed is possible by adding 16 N-S elements.
