 note = {The purpose of this report is, the same as the previous one published in last year, to analyze family relationships in connection with householders' identity about their occupations and role-expectancy to their own children. Data were collected on the basis of unstructured interview with the householders in four so-called "Kaso" (too-thinly-peopled) communties, and of KASC (sentence completion test for pupils in Kaso districts) administered to pupils of the middle schools in the two of the four districts. Comparing householders' responses in the two districts, Kami-Mura (KM; Nagano Prefecture, Middle in Japan) and Mizukami (MZ; Kumamoto Prefecture, South-West in Japan), we could find some differenes between them; the identity about their occupations was more ambivalent in MZ group than in KM group, but more confused in some of KM group than of MZ group; KM group had less reliable role-expectancy to their own children than had MZ group. Differences among four districts, KM, MZ, ND (Yamagata Prefecture) and TB (Shimane Prefecture), were also discussed. ND group contrasted significantly to KM group in their stable reliance on their children. Similarities were found between MZ group and TB group in their ambivalent attitudes toward their occupations and their children. The younger householders (forties or younger) across four districts had more confused identity abou their occupations than had olders. Especially, the younger ones of KM and MZ groups were eagerly to make their children receive higher level of education, which was also confirmed by the analysis of KASC responses. Discussing about the factors affecting differences among districts and about the forecast of the Kaso phenomenon, the significance of follow-up study was suggested., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。},
