Our main question is how we should think the relation of the two terms, namely; “Längsintentionalität” and “Querintentionalität.” According to our opinion, it is very problematic whether is right, Husserl’s term “Längsintentionalität” is “vertical” or “horizontal.” If we should interpret Husserl’s term “Längsintentionalität” with “vertical intentionality,” the term “Quer-” must be interpreted with “horizontal.” It seems to be very strange, and very difficult to understand consequently. So we conclude that we should interpret it to be a “horizontal intentionality,” and “Querintentinalität” must be interpreted as the intentionality which diagonally goes down to the right. It indicates the line which connects the original impression and the series of adumbration of modified retentions of the same tone. Concerning “Längsintentionalität” we have proposed a new interpretation according to which the prefix “Längs-” can be interpreted either “horizontal” or “vertical,” depending on which one of the two opposite ways to draw the time-diagram is employed, so that an one-dimensional or a two-dimensional coordinate system results.}, pages = {65--87}, title = {フッサール初期時間論の基本概念とアポリア(II)}, volume = {4}, year = {2021} }
