Currently, it is considered as a viable method for applied philosophy. And it has another virtue, that is, a compromise attitude, but we surmise that the fact is less known. In this paper, as the title shows, we ask a question “Is casuistry a method or an attitude?” Considering casuistry from a historical point of views, we shall answer the question in the final section.
