Graduates of the PA after 1931 were required to participate in a Berufspraktisches Jahr (BJ) - a required period of teaching practice for the elementary school teacher’s qualification exam. A mentor, chosen from the teachers in the elementary school, had the role of assisting PA graduates. This study focuses on the workshop for mentors. The workshop was held by the PA to introduce its activities to mentors. Since mentors graduated from normal school, they did not have much knowledge about the PA. Therefore, the workshop provided an opportunity for them to learn about the PA, which played a significant role in the BJ. However, this has not been examined sufficiently in prior research. This study seeks to clarify the content of the workshop and how mentors evaluated the PA after the workshop. The conclusions are as follows: \n1. The content of the workshop included lectures, observing classes of the PA, and exchange of opinions. The PA was able to arrange the content of the workshop. \n2. Most of the mentors after the workshop had a good impression of the PA.
