To do so, the study first aims to clarify the classifications of the problems in the current professional lives, and next clarify any differences between those who have been troubled by their “toxic parents and family members” and those who have not in their professional lives and in the contents of work they are currently engaged in. From the results of the analysis, three issues “maladjustment in workplace,” “lack of job skills,” and “family problems” were extracted regarding the “difficulty in living” faced by the working people in full-time employment. Almost 40% of the full-time employed working people were troubled by their toxic parents or family members. Furthermore, logistic regression analysis revealed that those who were troubled by either their toxic mother, their toxic family member, or their toxic mother and family member had significant odds ratios in almost all items of “work in general and about yourself” compared to those who were not, which indicates that family problems negatively affect their professional lives. In particular, it was suggested that those who felt a vague sense of “difficulty in living” were likely to be deeply affected by family problems such as a toxic mother or a toxic family member. It was also related to their inability to “build relationships,” which is essential in their professional lives. From the indication that they are more prone to stress, it was presumed that they tended to have more stressful professional lives. They were also more aware of their lack of general social common sense, which may have also made their lives more difficult. On the other hand, no impact was made on the work content, indicating that family problems did not negatively affect the work content. As described above, there is a high possibility that the “heart mind” caused by toxic parent or family member is behind the difficult professional life. It is important to heal the “heart mind” through the professional life.}, pages = {23--36}, title = {家族問題による職業生活への影響 : 俗にいう「毒になる親」と生き辛さ}, volume = {45}, year = {2022} }
