A web-based questionnaire survey was conducted on 1,872 regularly employed college-educated adults (equal numbers of men and women) between the ages of 22 and 49 to learn about their living conditions, including the various types of stress they experience from their work load. In the questionnaire, the respondents were also asked about their “most intense study period” and “most intense exercise period” out of the six time-segments from childhood to university graduation.
