Five female diabetes (BMI:28-45) were hospitalized for 12 days with 1200 kcal diet and exercise therapy (ergo meter and walking). Two (0-4.3) kg of body weight was reduced. Daily profile of breath acetone indicated the relative high value in fasting time. Fasting breath acetone was correlated with body fat ratio.
