In this study, using different types of sports, mood changes before and after a golf round were examined and variables affecting these changes were identified. The participants were comprised of 154 male amateur golfers ranging in age from 18 to 75 years. These golfers reported an average of 13.2 years of golf experience, and an average 18-hole score of 103.1 ranging from a low of 78 to a high of 158. The Mood Check List-3 (Hashimoto and Tokunaga, 1995) which consists of \"pleasantness,\" \"relaxation,\" and \"satisfaction\" subscales, was administered to assess mood states. Participants completed this questionnaire in the lobby of the clubhouse before a round of golf, after finishing 18 holes, and just before leaving the golf course. Additionally, golf-related variables that might influence mood states were measured before and after the round. With respect to the pleasantness and satisfaction subscales of the Mood Check List-3, scores immediately after the round were significantly lower than those reported before the round (p<.05). Relaxation scores after the round were slightly lower than those reported before the round. Just before leaving the golf course, however, scores on all three subscales were significantly higher than those immediately after the round (p<.05). It is evident that mood states were temporary affected in a negative manner after 18 holes, but this negative state had turned positive by the time players were leaving the course. Concerning the variables potentially related to mood changes in golf, evaluation of golf score and putts, exhibition of true ability, mental states during the round, level of concentration, and attainment of the purpose for the day's round had a greater effect on the mood changes. That is, the golfers who evaluated their score and putts badly, or assessed their mental states negatively during golf play showed reduced mood states after the round, and increased mood states upon leaving the golf course.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.18999/njhpfs.24.1.15","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_32":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"名古屋大学総合保健体育科学センター","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"The Research Center of Health, Physical Fitness and Sports, Nagoya University","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_9_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"収録物識別子","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0289-5412","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"open access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"西田, 保","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"NISHIDA, Tamotsu","creatorNameLang":"en"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"橋本, 公雄","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"HASHIMOTO, Kimio","creatorNameLang":"en"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2023-03-29"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"njhpfs_24_1_15.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"6.4 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://nagoya.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2005216/files/njhpfs_24_1_15.pdf"},"version_id":"7255c6a8-5c45-4383-a62a-5fadc63003b8"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"ゴルフによる気分の変化に影響を及ぼす要因","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"ゴルフによる気分の変化に影響を及ぼす要因","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"40001","owner":"1","path":["1679893093947"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2023-03-29"},"publish_date":"2023-03-29","publish_status":"0","recid":"2005216","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["ゴルフによる気分の変化に影響を及ぼす要因"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-03-29T00:32:44.808531+00:00"}
